SEVENTEEN Celebrates 10th Debut Anniversary with Comeback Album HAPPY BURSTDAY in May 2025.

Secodupdate.com – Good news for all CARATs (SEVENTEEN fans)! The South Korean K-Pop group is set to brighten up the spring of 2025 with a special comeback.

SEVENTEEN will be releasing their fifth full-length album titled HAPPY BURSTDAY on May 26, 2025.

The news was officially announced by their agency, Pledis Entertainment (under HYBE Labels), through a press release received by detikpop on Tuesday (April 22, 2025).

HAPPY BURSTDAY comes nearly three years after the release of their previous full album Face the Sun in 2022.

SEVENTEEN also shared the news of their comeback via their official social media accounts. In a short teaser video, the phrase “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” transforms into “HAPPY BURSTDAY,” delivering a strong visual impact and catching fans' attention.

But that’s not all—along with the new album, SEVENTEEN also announced a series of exciting activities in 2025. From a world tour, the release of single albums by their sub-units, to various new content that fans have been eagerly waiting for.

This album is extra special as it marks the 10th anniversary of SEVENTEEN’s debut. It’s hard to believe that the group who made “Pretty U” a hit has already been in the industry for a decade!

The name HAPPY BURSTDAY itself is a wordplay on “Happy Birthday,” with “Burstday” combining “birthday” and “burst”—symbolizing SEVENTEEN’s explosive energy and spirit as they enter a new chapter.

With this comeback, SEVENTEEN aims to present a fresher and more unique image than before. They also want to showcase their maturity as a group that has remained solid with all 13 members since their debut in 2015.

Over the past 10 years, SEVENTEEN has captured the hearts of music fans not only in South Korea but also in Indonesia and around the world.

Just recently, they performed as headliners at Tecate Pa’l Norte, one of the world’s largest music festivals—becoming the first K-Pop act to receive that honor.
