Secondupdate.com - A number of Korean actors and actresses, including YoonA, Lee Chae Min, Kang Han Na, and Choi Gwi Hwa, have officially been cast in the film The Tyrant's Chef. According to a report by Soompi, The Tyrant's Chef has finalized its cast.

The drama, directed by Jang Tae Yoo, is set to air in the second half of 2025. Interestingly, this drama falls under the fantasy genre, telling the story of a chef who embarks on a journey to the past.

In this film, YoonA will play Yeon Ji Young, a cheerful and determined chef who receives an offer to become the head chef at a 3-Michelin-star restaurant in Paris. However, while winning the most prestigious culinary competition in France, she suddenly finds herself traveling back to the Joseon era. There, she encounters a king known as the worst tyrant.

Meanwhile, Lee Chae Min will portray Lee Heon, a tyrannical king who holds absolute power over Joseon. As a food lover, Lee Heon is highly particular about the food he consumes. After meeting Yeon Ji Young and tasting her cooking, he becomes so impressed that he brings her to live in the palace.
