 Secondupdate.com - Tragic news comes from senior actress Dalyce Curry, who was found dead in her home in Altadena, California. Her body was discovered shortly after her house was engulfed in flames.

Meanwhile, Dalyce Curry's great-granddaughter, Kelley, confirmed that Dalyce Curry passed away due to the Los Angeles wildfire. According to Kelley, her life fell apart after hearing about Dalyce Curry's death.

"About an hour ago, the coroner confirmed her body was indeed found on the property. #RIPMOMMADEE," wrote Curry's great-granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, on Facebook on January 12, local time, Wednesday (1/15).

"She influenced my life in so many ways. This loss is devastating," Kelley continued.

During her lifetime, Dalyce Curry was known as a film actress, starring in numerous renowned films such as Lady Sings the Blues and her most iconic role in The Blues Brothers.

At the time of the fire, Kelley was unable to contact her grandmother. However, she did try to inquire about her grandmother's whereabouts during the incident. Notably, Dalyce's house had already burned down on January 8.

"My grandma's house burned down. Has anyone seen MOMMA DEE?" Kelley wrote.

"Everything is gone, except for her blue Cadillac," she added.
