Secondupdate.com – The conflict between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively during the filming of It Ends With Us is gradually being revealed. Justin Baldoni sent a seven-minute voice memo to Blake Lively about the rooftop scene.

"I'm truly sorry, I feel like I failed, even though you worked so hard for it," Justin Baldoni said in the recording, as released by TMZ on Tuesday (January 28, 2025).

"I made a mistake. One thing you need to know about me is that I will acknowledge my mistakes and apologize. I am far from perfect, and I am a deeply flawed man, as my wife would tell you," he continued.

In the same recording, Emily Baldoni promised to do better. She also praised Blake Lively for having supportive friends in her work, including her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and Taylor Swift.

"We should all have friends like them. Besides the fact that they are two of the most creative people on the planet, the three of you together—it's amazing," said Justin Baldoni.

Furthermore, Justin Baldoni also apologized for Blake Lively’s past negative experiences with other directors. At the end of the recording, he reiterated his regret over her previous bad experiences with directors.

"I’m truly shocked by this industry and what you’ve been through as a woman. I hope that’s not your experience with me. We are the 'secret recipe' for It Ends With Us," Justin Baldoni stated.
